About Us

Spartina Lawn Care is owned by Max Wagenseller. Max was born and raised in Wilmington, NC, and has called the Cape Fear region home for the past 24 years.  He has been working on lawns and landscaping since he was a young boy, servicing neighborhood lawns, and building a passion for landscaping over the years. Upon graduating from UNC Wilmington in 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in History, Max turned that passion into a full time pursuit and began building and growing Spartina Lawn Care as a professional high-end service provider. Since the summer of 2023, Spartina has been a registered and fully-insured LLC.
